A little bit of ‘Norn Iron’ at home

I always love getting something new to photograph, and Aimee from DetailingByHerNI asked me to do content photos for her thank you blog post to Gemma from Arcadia Art Design which I was really excited for doing.

Gemma’s resin creations are stunning and her cheese board was the perfect wedding gift choice for Aimee’s childhood friend Sarah who recently got married to Marc. Gemma’s personalized the board also which makes it even more the perfect gift and for these two lovebirds who recently got married in Ballycastle, it’s keeping it all together linked our amazing Antrim Coast road, so they have a little bit of ‘Norn Iron’ at home, while they move away for their studies.

The set up was a single off camera flash and a mixture of using my 100mm macro lens, the wee nifty fifty (50mm) and my absolute fav, my 85mm prime. Gemma’s ‘waves’ were fun to photograph, in minute detail as much as the whole board. Her craft is fabulous and the colours are just gorgeous. What a perfect choice of wedding gift!

It’s always a pleasure taking photographs for your social media content. If you have any photography or editing for your social media, website or any other forms of photography, please get in touch.

In the meantime, here’s a few more of Gemma’s creation…. Don’t forget to check our her facebook page and Instagram too.
